Several minor races are space faring so for fun you could just be like the Enterprise in Picard's time and wander the galaxy except with a lethal FLEET and with an escort guiding an invasion force. Then go visit all the unclaimed ones. Even without maximized starships, I took out the Delarians and they ain't no pushovers. You could take out the Baflides for a start.

Advanced saved game

I took a peek and your treasury will jump up to 44.4 million in the next turn. Be careful on selling off inflated gains as most of these colonial sectors with the most caches of raw materials are sending resources to 2 or 3, but a few to as many as 8. Always look at how many are being supplied and adjust the sell off accordingly.

I wish someone had done this earlier as I would have played it. You should literally be able to do any tactics that are in the game.

The main place ships are located is Lambrecht (shining or holy land). You will see that several fleets are in conquered minor alien race's land so you can relocate them based on the morale score.

The AI will begin probing and will try to exploit weakness and there are LOTS of places they could do so.

Most empires are well explored, but the Khaoran are 50% complete. I have sent my weakest scouts as they are angry. The Rotharian territory is the least explored. Espionage gives the Omega at least vague ideas about their territories.

The whole point is for you to experiment to see what happens. Try anything and everything.

Technically there is no advantage to putting in future construction in the building queue, but I left those in as suggestions.

Check that everything is configured to be powered up. 95% should be.

There is massive infrastructure overkill and redundancy so everything is plausible. You should at least look at the demonstrable benefits, but you can and should deviate as your method may be wiser and less expensive.

Right now, you could totally backstab them all and attack each empire's home sector and crush them early. But why do so? Savor your victory. Use tactics. Do psy-ops where sabotage ends up starting wars against each other, then pick up the pieces.

The Cartare are very vulnerable. You could totally control the entire southern lands as well by squeezing the Heyoun.

It's open ended and meant to be that way. The Khaoran are about to snap though as are the Rotharians.

One colonial sector is bait and you probably should rush a fleet there:the Lukarian home sector. For whatever eason they volunteered for membership quickly so it was an opportunity to have bait for the other empires to try to seize to instigate a war.


All goals are turned off as I find them entirely unrealistic. Wars don't ever end based on goals.

All research has been scrapped whenever possible as there are no further gains about level 14. It feels weird as many technology archives grant giant leaps forward, but you do not want to waste citizen's labor when they could be making you money or more soldiers or more ships.

Heck if you waned to, you could help an ally and just back them up as muscle so they gain territory.

So straight away, looking through who finished construction and nothing remains to be created as infrastructure, then all four colonial sectors sent raw materials as resource routes from Templar can be canceled if you decided not to build anything else.

And canceling these unnecessary routes is a good standard practice as that is four valuable slots from a resource rich sector, where another sector may need them badly. It means you can sell resources feely from Templar. See? And that is how to maximize profits.

But scrutinizing the accounting is tedious but necessary. Otherwise profitability drops dramatically.

BotE has all kinds of micromanagement and sometimes you have to turn the manager tab off and configure production yourself.

I saved you a whole month of busy work so you can wage war instead.

I play wargames to fight battles...not run an empire and plan resource routes. If you enjoy economic builders then BotE is the best available. I want to successfully fight battles.

This was maddening and frustrating to medieval professional soldiers as seldom could they do more than chase bandits or very mundane border skirmishes over contested territory. That happened worldwide in England, Japan, France, the Middle East, Africa, Spain, etc.

You were lucky if you fought wearing your armor three times. And one of the rationales for the crusades was to get Christian kingdoms to stop pointless wars. That is also why they started tournaments as a way to sort of practice and not get bored and stale and rusty, and to let off some steam as soldiers were irritable as they didn't want to drill but FIGHT!

Bored irritable veteran soldiers get in bar fights as it makes them crazy to sit around. Sergeants try to keep them busy drilling to prevent this.

You have so much built and so many troops and starships that you really don't need to build any ships right away. Upkeep is low in BotE as sectors or often 30 billion people, so military upkeep is realistic as thousands would employed in a sector and millions across the empire. It seems proportionally correct whereas many wargames have unrealistically high upkeep.

The earlier you make troops and soldiers, then they can be trained but max out on experience. You do not need humongous military forces UNLESS you have a wartime footing due to threat. No one is threatening the Omega Alliance. That would be moronic.

Raw recruits do not understand these principles as their lives are tough but easy UNTIL wartime when food may be scarce and they get very little sleep and are uneasy and might go a month without a shower. They get exposed to infection and unusual diseases. They get wounded and burned and break bones and have trauma. It is polar opposites. A raw recruit can end up injured or dying from pure foolishness as they transition from these extremes. The drill instructor tries to make them experience fear and so trust him, to save them from this foolishness during the transition.

I like that BotE has this idea of green raw recruits versus veterans. That is realistic. There in a scene in The Wrath of Khan where the doctor asks the captain if he wants a tranquillizer as a green lieutenant takes a starship out of drydock as the least error could shred the hull. So imagine a green crew fighting a battle in space...the most hostile known environment where mistakes are lethal.

So as the existing resource network becomes irrelevant to current needs, then I am adjusting it to maximize mining operation, and profiting whenever possible, but cognizant of not selling too low from single colonial sector caches as then they could run out.

And as there is a maximum capacity of 125,000 and then other mining is prioritized, then you want to sell it off. So what I just did was create 49 Vi dreadnoughts in a single turn, which were rushed as I was sitting on 48 million in the treasury. What that did was use up a lot of deuterium and iridium as those all have iridium double hulls so deuterium jumped to 7500 and iridium jumped to 4600. So then I judiciously sold deuterium and iridium as they had maxed out on mining limits.

Not every sector has all six natural resources and since research is complete, some sectors might only have deuterium and iridium and if infrastructure is largely maxed out, then essentially those folks were doing activities like intel work which may or may not be essential. You analyze as food storage may be full and maybe they are just sitting on their keisters.

You could max out defenses completely but then you also have energy requirements and so may be commiting a lot of resources unnecessarily.

So that resulted in turn #407 making 49 dreadnoughts but 16 million in profit in a single turn.

This is what happens with clever economic management and careful analysis and manipulating predictable inflation of commodity markets. You can make so much money that it is nearly impossible to lose money but create staggering gains.

The save game was created for the players to have fun, not worry about sabotage, and literally be able to do whatever they ever dreamed of doing. But it also allows extensive testing of the economic effects. One could do that with any aspect like research or internal intelligence agency reserves. It is a rather useful testing tool.

It would take six months, but I could build six galactic empires so every single empire would have as much power as the Omega do right now. Imagine the fun for multiplayer as balanced huge fleet battles could take place.

If we had a campaign and map editor, I could create custom scenarios in a week versus six months on huge designed maps for any time period. So far, the save games seem encrypted and so resistant to logic and analysis.

In turn# 407, the treasury is 63 million. The point is not to just crush the other empires like insects, but to have options on how to win. Now you can totally experiment with fleet composition and in tandem with ship designer customization. A wargamer could strike a balance and create perfect fleets.

And with advanced technology, and so many vast resources, a modder could dream up the best ways to create advanced starships and troops, but genetic manipulation of their species, alternative energy, pollution remediation, extend longevity, create pleasure planets and pristine planets totally created as unspoiled biologically diverse ecosystems.

I think any empire so far advanced would dismiss conquering as being a priority.

If you want, you could micromanage and maximize food production so famine is implausible...just fill up the storage to the limit. You eliminated hunger for an entire galactic empire in a few months time. Why not as no empire is a threat now?

With advanced technology, it's obvious that emulation of buildings and starships would happen so that instead of them being unique to a minor alien race's homesector, those advanced aspects would have a domino effect, and be combined with the empire's abilities, and a synergistic new creation would occur, and become standard buildings and troops and starships throughout the empire.

Any empire with limitless ability would do that as there are no constraints anymore.

With advanced espionage, then advanced galactic empires would emulate the major empire's special buildings, troops, and starships, and again combine it cumulatively with their own empire's technology, and could be like the Borg and not necessarily evil as the galaxy is huge and unless attacked, since the other empires are so inferior, and conquering would be effortless, why bother?

Espionage could just steal research and not sabotage and destroy.

An advanced galactic empire might just do as Kryptonians in Man of Steel and terraform their planets. It would be like the genesis weapon in the Wrath of Khan. They could just eliminate the population with a virus and not wage war at all.

As any body and mind would suffer the ravages of infection, disease, genetic errors in replication, then obviously an advanced galactic empire would attempt to find alternatives through genetic engineering and androids. Not every citizen would excel, but the most valuable ones might be saved to perpetuate their achievements. You would have genius scientists and artists and leaders and admirals who are immortal. That would create a horrible level of stability as a tyrannical aristocracy.

As the Vi are plant lifeforms who live symbiotically with hosts, that is their greatest success and their greatest failure. If you are omnipotent and immortal, then mortal life can be dismissed.

At some point, you have the ethical dilemmas of the Furyans and the Necromongers. With unlimited powe in the galaxy, what do you do with it? I think the other species become irrelevant and probably pointless to conquer.

I'm sending strong fleets to minor race home sectors to apply diplomatic pressure now, which worked in two instances straight away as their attitude was already high...making them malleable.

I've dispatched several fleets and will try to hail the Baflides and Vorgor, then try to develop diplomatic relations as there is no pressure on the Omega to hurry. My strategy now is to pick up all nonaffiliated and especially when they have existing fleets. Then customize them. I wish you could retrofit those ships.

Then probably do the same with other minor races as well. Why not as it saves billions of lives?

Things are the least politically stable in US history in my long lifetime.

10.9 million illegal ballots (lacking the official watermark security) are being held as evidence of monumental fraud. Ex-spy chief Brennan, who lied over and over again before Congress, has called for vice president Pence to seize the White House. He did so in an official CNN interview.Ex-Defense chief Esper was fired when it was revealed he was colluding with Biden. The Electoral College votes in a month and yet Biden is having talks with foreign officials when he has not won which is highly illegal and violates the Logan Act.

In 2016, 128.7 million voted, so the cheating is enormous this year with no allegation of Republican cheating. That is approximately 8.5 % illegal voting, often by fake ballots and by long dead voters who in some cases would be 150 years old.

These are perilous times and I do not know when I will finish the Balancer mod version 1.0.

President Trump is promising to declassify some of the traitorous activities and many Democrat officials are panicking. Every day I expect anarchy from widespread civil unrest.

Civil War is definitely plausible.
